About D4wrestlingpics
Our journey began back in 2009 when we first started sharing photos of District IV wrestlers on Webshots. After Webshots shut down, we turned to social media platforms to continue sharing these important moments with wrestlers, parents, and fans. However, as our community and content grew, we realized it was time for a more professional and organized platform to serve our audience.
Jason Johnson
Founder of D4wrestlingpics
Jason Johnson developed a love for photography after graduating from Warrior Run High School in 1997. His passion for wrestling began at a young age, starting in the fourth grade with elementary wrestling and continuing through his school years. Wrestling has always been a significant part of Jason's life, shaping his personal and professional journey.
In 2009, Jason combined his two passions - wrestling and photography - to create D4Wrestlingpics, a site dedicated to sharing photos and statistics for the wrestlers, parents, and fans of PIAA District IV wrestling. Over the years, Jason's photos have been featured in the PIAA state championship programs and have been showcased in numerous Pennsylvania wrestling publications and social media platforms, as well as national wrestling social media sites. His coverage has spanned from local elementary wrestling matches to the prestigious National Wrestling Championships in Fargo, ND.
Jason is currently employed at Digger Specialties Inc. in Montgomery, PA. He has been married to his wife, Teresa Johnson, for over 20 years, and together they have four children. The Johnson family resides in Watsontown, PA. Jason continues to dedicate his time and energy to the sport of wrestling, capturing its moments and sharing them with the community he loves.
